Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Communications Department has undergone numerous phases of transition, in tandem with continuous development in the university. The Communications Department provides information and advice in communications and branding to raise the visibility of UiTM.
In partnership with the academic and administrative offices in UiTM's 35 campuses nationwide, the department provides an array of services, including Public Relations, Media, Protocol and Event Management, Information, Publicity and Corporate Publication, Brand Management, Web Media, Creative Media Technology, as well as Creative Video Production.

Department Objectives
- Deliver key communication services and efficient support to meet customer satisfaction
- Ensure university reputation adhere to UiTM corporate policies and guidelines on image and identity
- Establish good relationship with stakeholders through strategic partnerships
- Promote university information through UiTM official platforms
Client Charter
- To ensure every grievance via e-aduan (visitors category) is answered within one (1) working day from the date the complaint is received
- To provide preliminary feedback to complaints published in newspapers or made through official letters, within three (3) working days from the date each complaint is published or received
- To ensure every application for the display of banners and buntings is processed and approved within three (3) working days from the date the completed items are received
- To ensure every request for souvenirs is processed and approved within three (3) working days following submission of a fully furnished application form
- To ensure every invitation to the media is made within three (3) working days before an event is held
- To ensure every request for video recording services is processed and approved within five (5) working days following submission of a fully furnished application form
- To ensure every request for photography services is processed and approved within five (5) working days following submission of a fully furnished application form
- To ensure 70% of calls are answered before 13 seconds are up (within 3 rings)
